CARGO® is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as the principal contractor for a new office refurbishment project with innovative digital tech company, Sero.
Sero Office Refurbishment.
Sero is a Welsh digital start-up that sits at the intersection of home comfort, construction, and energy. It provides the digital products and technical expertise needed to decarbonise UK homes.
The Cardiff-based firm works with developers, landlords and financial institutions to plan a stepped Pathway to Net Zero Carbon, reducing effort, costs, and carbon footprint.
About the Project.
Formed in 2017, the company has seen significant growth over the last few years and now has over 50 employees.
The company has recently secured a £5.5m investment from financial institutions Hodge and Legal & General to support the next stage of its ambitious growth plans.
Sero has chosen to work with CARGO® for their exciting office design and refurbishment plan, and we can’t wait to get started.
The Sero office refurbishment project is a great example of a thoroughly considered modern workspace that will play a key role in the future of the organisation. Sero Technologies share our passion for prioritising staff during the design process and this will be reflected throughout the project.

- Convert the traditional office into a modern, inviting, and comfortable environment.
- Install a drinks counter with a coffee machine and access to ice-cold water, along with premium booth seating to create a relaxed zone.
- Plan the space to adapt and grow with the rapid expansion of the company.
- Incorporate design features that reflect the company’s greener way of living.
- Decorate the space more in keeping with the brand colours.
