New Design Project Approved!

New Design Project Approved!

We’ve got an announcement.

CARGO® Interiors is pleased to announce that we’ve been appointed as the designer and contractor for the latest Aneurin Bevan University Health Board community outreach project.

community project for health board

The Health Board approached Cargo Interiors as their preferred contractor for a unique project to completely transform an underused space into an innovative community engagement area.

After an initial discovery session, it was clear that the relationship was a great fit and that the Cargo Interiors team had the right creative vision for this exciting new project.

“We can’t wait to get started and share our ideas on how we plan to create an innovative new environment for the Aneurin Bevan Health Board and the community it serves. Watch this space!”
– Carl Gough.

The Project.

The project will involve refurbishing an existing underused space to create a new and innovative environment for the Health Board to gain better outreach to the local community.

This unique environment needs to be comfortable, safe and welcoming to increase connectivity between the community and the local services available to them.

The space will be flexible and adaptable to suit the needs of to community as well as the different health services available (including everything from GPs, dentists, social services and mental health specialists).

This project will have a wide-spread positive social and health impact on the community, as well as being an asset for local groups and schools.

“After lockdown and the events of the pandemic, the services and function of this new space will be needed more than ever before.”
– Aneurin Bevan University Health Board

psst… Here’s a Sneak Peek

We can’t give too much away just yet!
But here’s a sneak peek at some of the ideas we’ve been working on:

sketches of workplace design

An Inside Look at The Brief:
  1. Create an open and collaborative environment for multiple services and groups to be able to work harmoniously together.
  2. Include ‘community connection zones’ that are welcoming and increase visitor connectivity.
  3. Incorporate private areas for one-to-one chats with visitors.
  4. Design an exhibition space and info centre that’s inspiring to the community.
  5. Create a space that allows for varied events to take place, with everything from Arts & Crafts to Health Seminars.
