TIPS ON HEALTHY HABITS FOR WORKING FROM HOME
So, as we find ourselves in these extraordinary times it’s more important than ever to do our bit to help slow the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) #Stayhomeandsavelives
But we know that working from home in isolation can be difficult so we have five simple things to introduce to your week to make it a little easier and more productive
Having a plan for the week is a really good way to make sure you can break up your days and accept that working 9-5 probably won’t happen so devise a routine that works for the whole family. Keep in touch using video calls and team platforms like WhatsApp. Make technology work for you. #workingfromhome #stayhomesavelives
It's important to stay active so get your body moving! We know that exercise and activity can protect against anxiety. By allowing 15 minutes or more of exercise a day will help keep you focussed and in good mental health.
Even in a small apartment, if you can, mix up your workspace - from desk to kitchen table to sofa. Just as we advocate moving around the office building for different tasks, try out different environments at home. Each shift to a new zone gives you a new perspective and can re-energise you if you’re struggling with a task. #workingfromhome #homeoffice
You’ve got to get out at some point during the working day to get some fresh air. However remember to practice responsible social distancing. Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times or if you have a garden then this is a great place to unwind and get the fresh air you need in a safe environment. #socialdistancing #stayhomestaysafe
You need to look after yourself and draw a line under the day so it doesn’t encroach into your homelife. So have some rules about when you’ll finish, or have a door to close at the end of your working day. #homeworking #workingfromhome
